Building Situational Awareness and Contextual Intelligence for the Next Generation
The internship seeks to help young people learn how to:
Observe society more carefully
Understand the problems people face
Identify opportunities hidden in everyday life
Develop contextual intelligence
Improve communication and analytical thinking
Understand how communities, districts, and regions create value
Learn how economies grow through distributed innovation and demand creation
Participants will be encouraged to think beyond themselves and ask deeper questions:
What does my family offer to the world?
What does my community offer?
What hidden strengths exist in my pin code?
What products, services, stories, traditions, or innovations can emerge from my surroundings?
Who Can Apply?
The internship will operate nationally and applications will be open across India. The program is open to:
High school students
Students who have completed the first year of undergraduate study
Curious young people interested in society, entrepreneurship, technology, media, culture, research, or public problem-solving
What Interns Will Do
Interns will engage in activities such as:
Mapping local opportunities and unmet needs
Documenting district-level strengths and capabilities
Identifying community challenges
Conducting observational and exploratory research
Building local knowledge repositories
Recognition and Opportunities
The program operates on a culture of trust, initiative, and contribution. Those who demonstrate seriousness, creativity, and consistency may become part of larger emerging projects within the ecosystem. Outstanding participants may receive:
